These \u00a0last six weeks have been exciting! The construction of Faith Bible Church is well underway! After almost 3 years of securing signatures for the purchased property and procuring a building permit along with \u00a0other needed documents, we have started construction \u00a0on our new church building.<\/b><\/p>\r\n

Our property looks, feels, and sounds \u00a0like the combination of \u00a0a steel plant and \u00a0 a brick makng factory. Sand piles! Stacks \u00a0of cement bags! \u00a0The \u00a0grinding of saws, the pounding of hammers, and the banging of steel! Loads of various activities! Everything is fabricated in our backyard and then carried to the church property site.<\/b><\/p>\r\n

It is quite fun! We are enjoy hearing their Tagalog and Agutaynen language and enjoy seeing the interactions of the men. \u00a0The workers are quite friendly and respectful. \u00a0We are honored to be a small part of \u00a0their \u201cfamily\u201d and community when they address us as \u201cGrandpa and Grandma\u201d! \u00a0<\/b><\/p>\r\n

We would appreciate your prayers for safety for the workers. \u00a0All the work is done by hand in the scorching heat! During weekdays, we have \u00a010-12 men working daily. Also, we would appreciate your prayers for Darryl and Stephen as they supervise the work, buy supplies, and make \u00a0decisions \u00a0on constructing a strong and stable structure.<\/b><\/p>\r\n
