Signs of strength

May 2, 2007 by

Joy’s ordeal at the hospital took a lot out of her.  But we are finally seeing real signs that she is getting back her pre-hospital strength.  First, she has her smile back.  And lots of other signs also indicate that she is feeling better.

  • She stayed awake all day for the past two days.
  • She sat up for 1 1/2 hours yesterday.
  • She can tolerate 1 hour of physical therapy without being tired afterwards.
  • She’s gained 3 pounds.

Praise God with us for these sure signs of improvement.

  • Continue to pray that the skin ulcer at Joy’s feeding tube site will heal.
