Sound system

August 13, 2007 by

Coordinating the audio-visual system is one of those behind the scenes jobs.  And it’s a little hard to define what the job involves.

  • Making recommendations about equipment to purchase
  • Setting up equipment and keeping it in running order
  • Running the system when available
  • Training others to run the system
  • Being on-call to fix problems
  • Editing sound recordings

The chapel is being used more and more for conferences, and the audio-visual system is critical to the success of those conferences.

Dave can’t be there all the time because of his other responsibilities.  So others handle the job when Dave is busy with computers.

  • Pray for Dave in this side ministry, especially that he will be able to balance it with his full-time ministry.
  • Pray that the sound will run smoothly this week for a special conference.
