Joy has developed a bed sore on her back. I suppose it was inevitable, seeing she has to lay on her back many hours of the day. Her 22-hour per day feedings limit the positions she can be in.
We’ve ordered an orthopedic foam mattress for her bed. That should arrive this coming week. It will mean much less pressure on any one point.
- Pray that Joy’s bed sore heals quickly.
- We’ve had some problem getting the right prescription for treating the sore. Pray that we can get the right thing soon.
- Pray for Ruth as she adjusts the way she handles diapering and dressing. More lifting is involved, versus rolling, so pray Ruth’s back stays strong.
