"Mr. McIlwain, I purchased the book "Firm Foundations" in 1998. I tried to read completely through , but I just could not seem to get started on the actual lessons themselves.
This summer, my son, daughter and I began going through the lessons, we did it every day. WOW! I can’t tell you how much I have learned about God. I was saved in 1982, but feel I never got a real view of the entire Bible until now. And I never understood it from God’s standpoint.
I was so excited about this study and I wanted to teach it to someone else. I volunteered to teach it on Wednesday nights for our junior girls at our church.
I just wanted to take this opportunity to tell you how much this has meant to me. Everyone should go through this teaching at least once in their lifetime. Oh how I wish I had heard this from the beginning, I believe I would have been saved at an earlier age."
