High School French inadequate

Dave  took French in High School, but what he learned then was far from what he needed today when he had to set up a computer in French. 

  

 

 

When setting up a computer, installing the keyboard is a first step.  The French keyboard is different from the English keyboard.  For example, the “w” on the French keyboard is where the “z” is on the English keyboard. Many other keystrokes are different as well.  So from this initial step, there was the challenge of finding the right keys to spell words correctly.

The easiest part was clicking on “yes” or “no” when those were the only buttons.  The hardest part was figuring out how to respond when the boxes had choices.   

Dave’s solution:  He set up two computers simultaneously – one in English and one in French.  Most of the buttons and boxes were in the same order, so he could read the choices in English, and make the choices on each.

Pray for Dave to have wisdom for situations such as this.
