Nathan Graduated

May 29, 2013 by Dave and Ruth Brendle

High School Graduation. Wow!  Zip! Zip! Zip! Nathan is finished with one stage of life, and moving on into the next.

During his years at Seminole High School, Nathan was part of the Academy for Health Science, which is a magnet program that prepares students for the health field.  He chose to follow the nursing track, and graduated with his CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license.

Nathan plans to major in nursing at Seminole State College, located just 10 minutes from home.  While attending college, he wants to use what he learned in Health Academy and get a job as a CNA at the hospital.  And sometime in the future, he wants to use his nursing in some type of ministry.

Earlier this spring, I watched as a young cardinal outside our window took flight for the first time.  Dad and Mom Cardinal were with him. They guided him to a safe spot. But the coolest part of the whole process was that he flew!  He really flew!  Dave and I have loved being there for Nathan – coaxing, nagging, cheering. And we have done our best to guide him to the safest spot – to rest near the heart of God.  And now, to watch him fly!
