This Christian School curriculum is an exciting project. Every time I see pages for the children to work on, I can hardly wait to see the final product.
Jan is writing the curriculum based on Building on Firm Foundations, and she is nearly done. She is currently working on the lesson on the crucifixion and resurrection.
- Pray that at Jan can communicate the wonderful truths of the Gospel clearly for 5th and 6th graders.
I look at the curriculum after Jan has drafted the children’s pages and teacher guide. Jan relies on me to make sure the curriculum retains the right focus. And she also welcomes my input in the curriculum itself — homework ideas, activity ideas, curriculum connection ideas.
- Pray that I will schedule my time wisely so that I can work on this curriculum.
For various reaons, Jan hasn’t been able to start field testing the curriculum this school year. The plan is for her to begin in January.
- Pray that she will be able to start as scheduled.
