Joy had a slight setback last night. Continue to pray that the skin at Joy’s feeding site will heal completely. Pray that Joy will get her pre-hospital strength back so that she can be up for longer periods of time. Pray that we will not become discouraged when there are setbacks.

Joy is regaining strength, but a setback last night took us by surprise.

Progress continues on revising the Building on Firm Foundations lessons.  Praise the Lord that the lessons are being used, even before the volumes are published. Pray for Jim as he translates the Ephesians lessons into Melanesian Pidgin English. Pray also for other missionaries who are translating the lessons into various tribal languages. Volunteers have worked extensively on the new Computer Shop.

Dave’s looking forward to moving into his new office. Pray for safety for the maintenance staff and volunteers as they finish the renovations. Pray that Dave and his co-workers will be able to move as soon as possible.  The current plan is to move in early May.

Praise the Lord that Joy is improving by tiny increments after her extended stay in the hospital. Pray that Joy regains her strength, so she can be out of bed more. Pray that we will be able to keep Joy stimulated while her world is limited much of the time to her bed. Pray that […]

Joy is recovering from her skin ulcer and her 12-day stay in the hospital - little by little.

After 12 days in the hospital, Joy is finally home.  Praise the Lord! Pray that the skin around her feeding tube site will continue to heal and fill back in. Pray for us as we adjust to Joy being on a pump 24 hours a day.  Pray that Joy’s quality of life will continue to stimulate […]
