{"id":117,"date":"2008-08-23T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2008-08-23T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2010-02-26T22:02:00","modified_gmt":"2010-02-27T02:02:00","slug":"when-it-rains-it-pours","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/dave-brendle\/2008\/08\/23\/when-it-rains-it-pours\/","title":{"rendered":"When it rains, it pours."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--StartImportPhoto-->Over the past 5 days, our area of Sanford has had 15 inches of rain, most of it on Thursday night and Friday.\u00a0\u00a0We\u00a0see pictures on the news of terrible devestation from local flooding, and are so thankful that we haven&#8217;t experienced it.\u00a0\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>We worked on raking up tree debris today.\u00a0 It was pretty dry this morning, but the showers started about 1.\u00a0 So we worked between showers &#8211; until we just wanted to get it done and decided to\u00a0finish up in the rain.<\/p>\n<p>The St. Johns River is expected to flood by Tuesday. NTM&#8217;s\u00a0USA Headquarters\u00a0is located on Lake Monroe (which is a wide spot in this\u00a0river). The NTM property\u00a0didn&#8217;t experience flood damage during the 2004 hurricanes when Lake Monroe flooded.
