{"id":132,"date":"2009-01-26T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2009-01-26T05:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2010-02-25T22:48:26","modified_gmt":"2010-02-26T02:48:26","slug":"home-from-png","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/dave-brendle\/2009\/01\/26\/home-from-png\/","title":{"rendered":"Home from PNG"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--StartImportPhoto--><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/dave-brendle\/files\/2009\/01\/P1070159.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-805\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/dave-brendle\/files\/2009\/01\/P1070159-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"P1070159\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/dave-brendle\/files\/2009\/01\/P1070159-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/dave-brendle\/files\/2009\/01\/P1070159-165x110.jpg 165w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/dave-brendle\/files\/2009\/01\/P1070159-250x167.jpg 250w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/dave-brendle\/files\/2009\/01\/P1070159.JPG 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Tom and Danielle and family arrived home on January 20th.\u00a0\u00a0Health issues were the main reason they had to leave their ministry as\u00a0jungle missionaries with\u00a0New Tribes Mission.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Danielle has\u00a0Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and\u00a0is really worn down from living in the jungle village.\u00a0Tom is also exhausted.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>They want to continue to work with New Tribes Mission and feel the need for family support.\u00a0 So they are interested in a position in Sanford at the USA Headquarters.\u00a0 They met today with Mission\u00a0leadership\u00a0about possible ministry.\u00a0\u00a0A number of options\u00a0are available; now to find the right fit for Tom&#8217;s giftedness.<\/p>\n<p>They have four boys: Levi &#8211; 14; Jacob &#8211; 12; Luke &#8211; 9; and Josiah &#8211; 2.\u00a0 Nathan is enjoying having his nephews with us.<\/p>\n<p>Tom and family plan to live with us for about a month, and then travel to visit family and suporters.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pray for a return of energy for both Tom and Danielle.<\/li>\n<li>Levi may be starting a bout with malaria.
