Dave has a extra ministry – We call it his “Green Screen Photography.”\u00a0 It’s part time – he sets up the studio about once every three months.<\/p>\n

This is the process:\u00a0 (1) Take pictures of missionaries in front of\u00a0the green screen. (2) Use a program\u00a0to\u00a0automatically remove\u00a0the green. (3) Drop the\u00a0portrait\u00a0into a background.<\/p>\n

Sometimes the missionaries want him to make a prayer card,\u00a0and sometimes they just want portraits to give as gifts. Either way, taking the photos is\u00a0a free service to help our fellow missionaries.\u00a0 And Dave loves doing it.\u00a0 The picture of Ruth\u00a0below is a sample of a finished portrait.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>18 photo sessions over this past week.\u00a0 All were\u00a0staff members\u00a0at NTM here in Sanford.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Geoffrey?\u00a0\u00a0Sometimes\u00a0he’s the subject while Dave\u00a0tests lighting.\u00a0But mostly he hangs out\u00a0behind the camera.\u00a0Kids like him.\u00a0Not only is he cute, he talks\u00a0when Dave squeezes his ear.\u00a0And\u00a0on a few occasions this week, when adults looked stiff, Dave called on\u00a0Geoffrey to make them\u00a0smile.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
