We have translated and printed <em>Building on Firm Foundations<\/em> in Pidgin English. Now we are developing some simple English lessons with a PNG context.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300;\">\u201cWe have also been having pastors\u2019 seminars around the country to introduce our teaching materials to them. There is a lot of interest now.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cA lot of interest\u201d &#8211; just look at the number of people in that picture!\u00a0 This report encourages me, as do others. Working on the <em>Building on Firm Foundations<\/em> and <em>Firm Foundation<\/em> Bible lessons is what I do every day.\u00a0 And these Bible lessons are being taught around the world, and even right here locally.\u00a0 Our\u00a0church , Northland, A Church Distributed (a large church here in Central Florida), is starting Firm Foundations classes this Fall. We are praying for many to attend and become grounded in the grace of God.<\/p>\n<p>Dave\u2019s consulting ministry to help missionaries with computers also reaches around the world.\u00a0 The computer is such a fantastic tool for language learning, linguistic analysis, Bible translation, lesson development\u2026 the list is endless.<\/p>\n<p>We love being part of what God is doing!<\/p>\n<p>So thanks!\u00a0 Seriously, thanks!\u00a0 We know your prayers and gifts are to the Lord, and not to us.\u00a0 And He is using them around the world.\u00a0\u00a0 We know YOU love being part of what God is doing as much as we do!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><strong>Prayer requests <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\">\u00a0Pray for God&#8217;s wisdom in our daily work.\u00a0\u00a0We are thankful that God has given us insight in our fields, but we don\u2019t want to rely on man\u2019s wisdom (our own!), but on God.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-family: Eras Medium ITC; font-size: x-small;\">\u00a0<\/span>Pray for good communication and unity as we both work with others. This is a team effort!<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\">\u00a0Pray for our children, and for us in our parenting role of advisors.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\">\u00a0Pray about the opportunities that we have outside our regular NTM ministry.\u00a0Ruth is teaching an art class for 8 home-schooled high school students.\u00a0Dave does photography whenever possible. For example, last week, he did a senior photo shoot, and the weekend prior to that, he photographed baptisms at our church.\u00a0We enjoy using our gifts to connect with people. And we love connecting with people because that\u2019s what leads to witness and discussions about the Lord.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are so thankful that God has put YOU in our lives.
