\"\"<\/a>NTM\u2019s home office hosted its annual Staff Appreciation Dinner this past week.\u00a0 Dave and I were awarded\u00a0a certificate and rotating globe to honor\u00a0our 30 years serving here in Sanford.\u00a0 (Both of us have been serving with NTM for longer than that, but it\u2019s 30 years for Dave at this location.)<\/p>\n

The evening started with a video, taken\u00a0last month, showing elders and deacons being appointed in a tribal church.\u00a0 And every certificate presented was prefaced by something that has transpired in NTM over the last 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 years.\u00a0 Like, in the last 30 years, NTM\u2019s church planting efforts has expanded into 17 new countries.\u00a0 The point was clear \u2013 our involvement here has impacted NTM\u2019s efforts around the world.<\/p>\n

I chuckled when Dave commented to me later, \u201cI felt a little old. We were among those who had served the longest in Sanford.\u201d\u00a0 Granted, we are starting to look like Senior Citizens, with Ruth\u2019s reading glasses and Dave\u2019s silver hair.\u00a0 But\u2026 there\u2019s still more to do, and with God\u2019s help, we are still able to serve Him and our NTM missionaries.\u00a0 May our hearts be strong and focused. \u201cLooking unto Jesus\u2026who for the joy that was set before Him ENDURED\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
