His office is no longer accepting Medipass, the Medicaid insurance that Joy has had for years.

We have loved Joy’s doctor. She’s been with him since she turned 19 – nearly 10 years. He has been so kind to her. He treats her as a person, not a body. He knows her condition and situation, and responds immediately when we call. He often prescribes for her over the phone, not even requiring that we take Joy in to see him. He has even given me his personal number in case I ever need to reach him and cannot get him through his answering service. And his office staff has been terrific, especially in providing prescriptions for Joy’s supplies.

I cannot imagine taking Joy to another doctor.

Would you pray about this situation with us? Dave’s going to call the doctor’s office to get more information, and I’ve already called Joy’s Medwaiver coordinator to get her advice. We know this is not a surprise to God, even though it is a shock to us.

["post-21","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","entry
["GET
