{"id":66,"date":"2007-07-17T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2007-07-17T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2007-07-17T20:58:23","modified_gmt":"2007-07-18T00:58:23","slug":"joys-a-happy-girl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/dave-brendle\/2007\/07\/17\/joys-a-happy-girl\/","title":{"rendered":"Joy&#8217;s a happy girl"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--StartImportPhoto--><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/dave-brendle\/files\/2007\/07\/297_17877.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-104\" style=\"margin-right: 10px;margin-bottom: 5px\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/dave-brendle\/files\/2007\/07\/297_17877.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" \/><\/a><!--EndImportPhoto--><\/p>\n<p>Joy went to the bowling alley today to watch Nathan and her nephews take on Joy&#8217;s companion.&nbsp; Pat won!&nbsp; But all enjoyed the outing &#8211; and especially Joy.<\/p>\n<p>Joy&nbsp;continues to gain after her decline at the hospital in March.&nbsp;&nbsp;She is able to sit up for about 1 1\/2 hours, and probably could do longer, except she still has to recline for her tube feedings.<\/p>\n<p>There are other signs of improvement.&nbsp; For example, her weight is up about another pound, to a grand total of 43.&nbsp;The skin ulcer at her stoma site seems to be healing.
