{"id":71,"date":"2007-07-27T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2007-07-27T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2007-07-27T22:17:28","modified_gmt":"2007-07-28T02:17:28","slug":"obstacles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/dave-brendle\/2007\/07\/27\/obstacles\/","title":{"rendered":"Obstacles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--StartImportPhoto--><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/dave-brendle\/files\/2007\/07\/297_19386.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-104\" style=\"margin-right: 10px;margin-bottom: 5px\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/dave-brendle\/files\/2007\/07\/297_19386.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" \/><\/a><!--EndImportPhoto--><\/p>\n<p>Jan Harris is writing curriculum based on NTM&rsquo;s chronological teaching program, designed for 6th graders.&nbsp; I have loved working on this project&nbsp;with Jan and watching this&nbsp;curriculum&nbsp;develop.<\/p>\n<p>The plan was for Jan to field test the lessons at Lake Monroe Christian Academy this coming school year.<\/p>\n<p>We still desire to do that, but there is a problem. Jan told me today that she can only teach if the administration can find a room for the class that is not in the regular school building.<\/p>\n<p>That may seem like a strange requirement, but it&rsquo;s not really. Jan&rsquo;s daughter, Joanna, has severe sensitivity; and when her mom came home after a meeting at the school recently, Joanna&rsquo;s body reacted to something her mom had picked up at&nbsp;the school building.
