{"id":8,"date":"2006-11-03T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2006-11-03T05:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2009-08-15T21:55:03","modified_gmt":"2009-08-16T01:55:03","slug":"the-pitch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/dave-brendle\/2006\/11\/03\/the-pitch\/","title":{"rendered":"The Pitch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--StartImportPhoto--><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/dave-brendle\/files\/2006\/11\/297_5105.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-104\" style=\"margin-right: 10px;margin-bottom: 5px\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/dave-brendle\/files\/2006\/11\/297_5105.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" \/><\/a><!--EndImportPhoto--><\/p>\n<p>&#8230; the roof of our house is scheduled to be replaced.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>Praise the Lord that Don from Dave&#8217;s sending church in Michigan has a vision for helping us in a practical way.&nbsp;&nbsp; He has assembled&nbsp;a&nbsp;6-person crew.&nbsp;&nbsp;They will supply the&nbsp;labor to put a new shingled roof on our house.&nbsp; They are coming in January.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>What a marvelous provision from the Lord!&nbsp; <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pray as Dave measures, orders supplies, and coordinates the project.<\/li>\n<li>Pray for Don as he coordinates the crew.&nbsp; Don is in construction and knows roofs and how to get work done.<\/li>\n<li>Pray for God&#8217;s provision of supplies.<\/li>\n<li>Pray for me (Ruth) to have joy in watching the roofing process.&nbsp; When I was young, I watched as a neighbor fell off a roof he was building, and broke his back.&nbsp;&nbsp;Whenever I see anyone on a roof, I am fearful they will fall.&nbsp; <\/li>\n<li>Which brings me to the most serious prayer request &#8211; Pray for safety in every aspect of this project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The pitch on the back half of our roof is 2.3 to 12.
