They listen to the speaker and translate into Portuguese and Spanish.&nbsp; Speakers of those languages are on the conference floor, listening to the translation on earphones.&nbsp; Dave had to modify the translator booths at the last minute when the design proved inadequate.<\/p>\n<p><!--StartImportThumbnail--><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/dave-brendle\/files\/2007\/10\/297_25929.jpg\" rel=\"thumbnail\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-104\" style=\"float:left; margin-right:5px; border: 0.5pt solid #BCC4C8;\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/dave-brendle\/files\/2007\/10\/297_25929.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" title=\"\" \/><\/a><!--EndImportThumbnail-->Dave trained several men to handle the multi-media system, and has been supervising them.&nbsp; He has also covered a number of sessions himself.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Many attending the conference&nbsp;brought orders for computers or computers needing repair.&nbsp; Dave&#8217;s been scrambling to get these tasks done&nbsp;and computers in the right hands before&nbsp;the conference finishes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pray for Dave during this busy time as he continues to coordinate the multi-media for the conference and as he handles the extra computer work that the participatents brought for him.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A conference is being presented on Culture and Language Acquisition here at the USA Headquarters.
