There are also\u00a0other teens \u2013 the \u201cfriends\u201d part of the group \u2013 who go to church, and know some of the stories.\u00a0 For the MKs especially, going through FFCC as teenagers, is very different from when they went through it as younger kids.\u00a0 They are like sponges, soaking up the truth.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1000\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/dave-brendle\/files\/2011\/02\/IMG_0313-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0313\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Our son, Tom, taught them on Friday about the Passover Lamb.\u00a0\u00a0I listened with amazement to hear their responses to his questions.\u00a0 Sure, there were the typical teen goof-off answers, but amid all that, those kids knew the themes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I hardly have words to express how I felt.\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To hear Tom stating in his own words the phrases that I helped write.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>To see teenagers engaged in reading Scripture, and responding to questions.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>To hear teens talk about how God ALWAYS does what He says.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>To hear them discuss God\u2019s requirement of a blood sacrifice.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0To realize that there is such consistency in the lessons that although three or four different adults alternate teaching, the basic truths are clearly understood and reiterated from week to week.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It was absolutely thrilling, and humbling, to watch the truths from the lessons I&#8217;ve edited impacting lives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 Our son, Nathan, has been part of an \u201cNTM and Friends Youth Group\u201d for four years.\u00a0 We host the kids about every four weeks.\u00a0 Friday night,\u00a0we hosted, and\u00a0about 25 kids attended.
