Greetings!<\/strong> It has been awhile since we have emailed an update and we trust that you are doing well as we move through the summer of 2026. As many of your know there are currently many forest fires in the Pacific Northwest with resultant poor air quality. Apart from the smoke we are doing ok here in Kennewick, WA and finding our Lord sufficient!

Request for Bibles from the Mouk church In Papua New Guinea <\/strong>— Recently the Mouk Church in the province of West New Britain made a request for more Bibles. The number that was requested was 5,000. A printing company has been found in the Netherlands and the cost for printing and shipping to Papua New Guinea will be $20 per Bible. If you would like to give to this project please click on the following link:https:\/\/ethnos360.org\/projects\/where-most-needed<\/a> <\/strong>Once onsite type: “For Bible Translation and Printing of the Mouk New Testament”. There is also the option to give by check with accompanying instructions.
Pre-Field Orientation — The pre-field orientation (PFO) went well for the new Ethnos360 Associate Members the latter part of June. Please be in prayer for these folks as they prepare for traveling to their place of ministry. Just last week I received a text from our new associate missionary doctor, who with his family will be leaving soon to travel to Papua New Guinea to serve at the mission clinic. After PFO they had a ton of things to accomplish in order to be ready for departure. In his text he wrote, “All the requirements, paperwork, raising funds, in such a short amount of time seemed like an insurmountable mountain, but He is in the business of moving mountains”! Very encouraging to hear this!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volunteering in Florida<\/strong> — The Homes of Ethnos360 have a number of needs for long term staff such as Building Maintenance, Cook, Electrician, Food Service Manager, Mechanic, HVAC Technician, Plumber, and Nurse. However, there is also a need for volunteers. Many have come through the years and found purpose and fulfillment in volunteer service to retired missionaries. Are you Interested? Applications 2027<\/strong> — It is good to see applications beginning to come in to the Connection Center office from folks who are interested in serving with Ethnos360 as associate members (1-4 years) and those wanting to enroll in the Ethnos360 two year missionary training program focusing on a career in missions. The individuals currently applying or soon to be applying for associate membership are coming from individual careers experienced in Internet Technology, Education and Logistics. Please pray for these folks that they would be greatly encouraged and resting in the Lord as they anticipate serving on the Ethnos360 team reaching least reached people groups with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the Home Front<\/strong> — It has been good to be near family here in Washington State and provide support and encouragement when such opportunities arise. Recently we were able to spend quality time with our kids Ashley and Kyle, who live on the west side of the state. The photo above is of Diann and Ashley out on a hike. \ud83d\ude0a Soon here in Kennewick, Josh and Melinda will be taking two of our granddaughters to their Christian colleges. They will be enrolled at colleges in two different states, Washington and California. Our daughter Kristen and her husband Rick are doing well over on the east coast. However, recently they had a small tornado touch down on their property causing one of their large trees to fall in the yard. So thankful no one was hurt and there was not any damage to house or fencing. Please pray for us that our walk with the Lord would be close and that we would be open to His leading.
