{"id":343,"date":"2019-06-10T12:15:02","date_gmt":"2019-06-10T16:15:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/david-hilt\/?p=343"},"modified":"2019-09-09T12:17:30","modified_gmt":"2019-09-09T16:17:30","slug":"no-other-way","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/david-hilt\/2019\/06\/10\/no-other-way\/","title":{"rendered":"NO OTHER WAY"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"516\" height=\"266\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/david-hilt\/files\/2019\/09\/image-3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-344\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/david-hilt\/files\/2019\/09\/image-3.png 516w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/david-hilt\/files\/2019\/09\/image-3-300x155.png 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/david-hilt\/files\/2019\/09\/image-3-125x64.png 125w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/david-hilt\/files\/2019\/09\/image-3-250x129.png 250w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/david-hilt\/files\/2019\/09\/image-3-450x232.png 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 516px) 100vw, 516px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>I<\/strong>t&#8217;s just like going down a road in rural Kentucky. \u00a0We learned there was one way and one way only to get from point &#8216;A&#8217; to point &#8216;B&#8217; in the area where we lived as young missionaries in training.\u00a0 As one local resident told us when we moved there, \u201cYou ain\u2019t got no other way to git where you wanna\u2019 go, honey.\u201d\u00a0 He was right!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That reminds me of a question that\u2019s\ncome up often in our mission\u2019s mobilization journey &#8220;Won&#8217;t God save &#8216;those\npeople&#8217; <em>&#8211;meaning those living beyond the reach of the gospel<\/em>, if they\nnever hear of Jesus?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s an innocent question, alright,\nbut God doesn&#8217;t have any other way we can embrace forgiveness of sin or attain\na home in heaven except thru His Son Jesus.&nbsp;\nIf lost people will be saved it will only be through faith in the\nfinished work of Christ. There\u2019s no other way!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Occasionally someone will protest,\n\u201cIt\u2019s seems so unfair that God wouldn\u2019t make another way for such ones to be\nsaved.\u201d&nbsp; But think<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>think about it\u2026 if God had another\nmeans of saving people then it would nullify the finished work of Christ and\nmake the gospel of no <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>effect. &nbsp;Jesus said &#8220;I am the way, I am the truth,\nI am the life.
