I<\/strong>t’s just like going down a road in rural Kentucky. \u00a0We learned there was one way and one way only to get from point ‘A’ to point ‘B’ in the area where we lived as young missionaries in training.\u00a0 As one local resident told us when we moved there, \u201cYou ain\u2019t got no other way to git where you wanna\u2019 go, honey.\u201d\u00a0 He was right!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That reminds me of a question that\u2019s\ncome up often in our mission\u2019s mobilization journey “Won’t God save ‘those\npeople’ –meaning those living beyond the reach of the gospel<\/em>, if they\nnever hear of Jesus?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s an innocent question, alright,\nbut God doesn’t have any other way we can embrace forgiveness of sin or attain\na home in heaven except thru His Son Jesus. \nIf lost people will be saved it will only be through faith in the\nfinished work of Christ. There\u2019s no other way!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Occasionally someone will protest,\n\u201cIt\u2019s seems so unfair that God wouldn\u2019t make another way for such ones to be\nsaved.\u201d  But think<\/p>\n\n\n\n

think about it\u2026 if God had another\nmeans of saving people then it would nullify the finished work of Christ and\nmake the gospel of no <\/p>\n\n\n\n

effect.  Jesus said “I am the way, I am the truth,\nI am the life. None… NO ONE comes to the Father except through me (Jesus).”\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acts 4: 12 affirms it.  There just isn’t any other way to have a\nrelationship with God, and no other way to get to heaven or avoid hell outside\nof the gospel.  I\u2019m thankful we have the\nfreedom of choosing life over death.  But\nthere are many who haven\u2019t been given that choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEveryone who calls on the name of the\nLord will be saved.\u201d \nHow,\nthen, can they call on the one they have not believed in?  And how can they believe in the one of whom\nthey have not heard?  And how can they\nhear without someone preaching to them?  And\nhow can anyone preach unless they are sent?  As it is written: \u201cHow beautiful are the feet\nof those who bring good news!\u201d  Romans\n10:13-15<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those scriptures say it well although\nsome struggle over the fairness issue.  I\nask\u2026 \u201cis it fair that Jesus took our sin upon himself and died in our place?  Is it fair we\u2019ve heard the message of\nsalvation and \u2018they\u2019 haven\u2019t?  \u2026And if\nyou\u2019ve embraced the gospel, is it fair not to tell some lost soul\u2026 or go to the\nends of the earth as Jesus commanded us to do to tell them the message?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen men are heathen by choice that\u2019s their business. \u00a0 \u00a0\u2026But when men are heathen by no choice that\u2019s our business.\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no other way such ones will\nhear unless we go.  NO OTHER WAY.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
