{"id":82,"date":"2014-12-07T09:38:29","date_gmt":"2014-12-07T13:38:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/david-hilt\/?p=82"},"modified":"2014-12-07T09:38:29","modified_gmt":"2014-12-07T13:38:29","slug":"jesus-savior","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/david-hilt\/2014\/12\/07\/jesus-savior\/","title":{"rendered":"JESUS, SAVIOR&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Unfolding the story revealing Jesus\u2019 birth, countless tribesmen exclaimed excitedly their prediction that Jesus would be the Savior of the world. &#8211;What led them to believe Jesus was the promised Redeemer?\u00a0 How could they be assured this was true?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Foundational stories of the Bible lay bedrock evidence to convince men that God\u2019s story is true.\u00a0 So when the news of Jesus\u2019 birth was announced to these tribesmen they had no doubt in believing He was the Savior.\u00a0 Everything in the Old Testament teaching pointed to the fact of the New Testament &#8211;that He (God Eternal) was made flesh (God Incarnate)\u2026 <strong><em>\u201cFor He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> II Corinthians 5:21<\/p>\n<p>These precious people laid hold of something most people of Jesus time never understood.\u00a0 Israel had the revealed truth of God\u2019s Word but chose not to believe it.\u00a0 \u2013Doesn\u2019t make sense, does it?<\/p>\n<p>As we stand upon the threshold of celebrating the birth Jesus there are millions of people who never heard God\u2019s story and the way of salvation.\u00a0 They have no Bible, no church, no radio, no tv, no computer, no internet access, no scripture, no believers\u2026 nothing to give witness!<\/p>\n<p>It doesn&#8217;t seem fair.\u00a0 \u2026And it\u2019s not! That\u2019s why God has given us the ministry of reconciliation.\u00a0 &#8211;To be His ambassadors to the lost.<\/p>\n<p>New Tribes Mission is making great impact through our efforts of declaring Christ to the nations.\u00a0 This year alone resulted in numerous people groups hearing the gospel for the first time, with others to hear the story by years\u2019 end.\u00a0 Churches are being established, Bible translations completed, yet millions more are waiting for someone to bring them the gospel.<\/p>\n<p>The greatest gift you will give this season isn\u2019t worthy to be compared to the life changing message of salvation in Christ.\u00a0 Remember, Jesus came to pay a debt He didn\u2019t owe, because we owed a debt we couldn\u2019t pay.\u00a0 Having received grace, we now are debtors to those who know not the Christ.\u00a0 <strong>Let\u2019s give the gift that keeps on giving\u2026 salvation in Jesus.\u00a0 It\u2019s out of this world!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Unfolding the story revealing Jesus\u2019 birth, countless tribesmen exclaimed excitedly their prediction that Jesus would be the Savior of the world. &#8211;What led them to believe Jesus was the promised Redeemer?\u00a0 How could they be assured this was true?
