Dearest Friends,

We are happy to share with you these photos of our newest joy, Rachel Joleen Ogg. Labor was induced 10 days before the due date, and Rachel arrived after 1½ hours of labor. She is a beautiful and content little girl. During her first 24 hours her blood sugar was below normal (this was expected), but now she is stable and doing fine. We are so thankful to the Giver of Life for this new little one He has entrusted to us.

Recently we passed our first Simbari language test. Thanks to the Lord and your prayers, we did well and will now be moving on into new areas of language study. Please Pray for us as we begin more difficult areas of study in the months ahead. We are planning to take our next language test in late spring.

Shari’s parents will be coming to P.N.G. at the end of Jan. to lead a Summit work team here in the Highlands to work at the Interface campus. Shari’s sister, Janice may also be coming at this time to participate in the Interface program. We are excited to see them and for them to see our work here.

Love,  David & Shari Ogg

also Esther, Simon & Rachel
