Translation Check
We have an important final check with a translation consultant scheduled for May 6-20th so we would appreciate prayer for that to go well. We are bringing translation helpers from the city and out from the tribe to our location here then we all will be flying together to the other side of the country to meet with the consultant. They will be hearing some of the hardest, most complex books of the Bible for the first time. This is when the consultant will confirm whether or not the translation is clearly communicating in the Simbari language. All of the preparation for the check along with packing up our house in time for David to leave for the check is all happening at the same time making it busy and a bit stressful.
Moving Again?
Why are we packing up? Our two year term is over so it’s time for a 6-month home assignment. We will be returning next month to the USA for our six-month home assignment to attend Rachel’s wedding, get Jason settled, spend time with family and friends, get medical work done, and continue working towards publishing the Simbari New Testament. Please pray for us to keep our eyes on Jesus as things get a little crazy for a while.
