Upcoming Ministry Trip for Shari
Shari is excited to share with you a ministry opportunity she has been given to join a team from our church traveling to Greece in June. Her team will be partnering with Hellenic Ministries and working along with the staff as well as other Christ-followers from many different countries. She will be caring for refugees who are attendees of a family camp and will be serving them as the hands and feet of Jesus. Please pray that the Lord will give her team wisdom, strength, and unity, and that many hearts would be transformed by the gospel. She has received about 60% of the funding needed for the trip. Celebrating David’s Parents’ 65th Anniversary
David’s parents, John and Jackie, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary at the end of March. They invited as many of the family as possible to join them in Kauai for their special day. A bunch of us were able to join them for 2 weeks. On the beach one day they talked about how they went through some tough times and separated in the early years of their marriage but deciding to follow Jesus is what turned things around for them. After years of living for themselves they began submitting to Jesus as the head of their home. We are all so thankful for God faithfully working in their lives and how they have shared that blessing with so many others. Living by faith has a ripple effect that spreads out and touches more than we can imagine.
