It was great getting some help on methods for producing good Bible Translation.

We mentioned in our last letter the need to rebuild our house and after tearing down our old house we found out our Jan. Summit work team was cancelled. But God had a better plan. Dave’s Dad, John Ogg, and 3 other men: Jerry Walker, Wes Robinson and Sean DeLong volunteered to come out and help build the house. Wow! Thank You Lord. While they were here the Lord gave us good weather allowing us to get all the framing, roof, siding, and internal paneling done. We had to ration water but without the dry weather we would never have been able to get so much done. The guys worked at an incredible pace and we know God will bless them for their efforts. Many of you contributed towards this project in some way. Thanks to your partnership in this work we will be able to return to our normal ministy with the Simbari very soon. Thank you all very much.

Nov. 6, 1998 Started foundation for new house

Dec. 31, 1998 Stood up first wall

Jan. 22, 1999 Framing complete with external siding and internal paneling

Co-worker news: Dennis and Jeanne Best are on furlough and living in Florida.
