- Numbers 33-34
- John 6
- Psalm 37
Verse of the Day:
Ps 37:23-25 The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand. Once I was young, and now I am old. Yet I have never seen the godly abandoned or their children begging for bread.
Do you ever picture God holding your hand? When you take your kids outside, and you are walking in a place that has potential danger, as a parent, it’s natural to grab your child’s hand and help them stay safe, keeping them away from Danger. Do you think God does that with us?
David says in Psalm 37:24 “Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.” I know we can’t feel his physical hand holding onto ours, but He loves us more than any earthly father could love his son.
Romans 8:31-32 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?
“How deep the father’s love for us, vast beyond all measure. That He would give His only Son to make a wretch His treasure.”
Psalm 25:10 All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness
Jer 31:3 “I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.”
I pray for you today that you will find your loving heavenly Father as a refuge and a fortress today. That you will be able to crawl up into his arms and feel his loving arms wrap around you and know “The Lord rescues the godly; he is their fortress in times of trouble. The Lord helps them, rescuing them from the wicked. He saves them, and they find shelter in him.” Ps 37:39-40
