Did you know that it was by God\u2019s design that we would look like fools to the world? It\u2019s almost comical what Paul says in 1 Cor 1:23. He says, \u201cWhen we preach that Christ was crucified, the Jews are offended and the Gentiles say it\u2019s all nonsense.\u201d This is certainly true in today\u2019s world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aren\u2019t you glad God chooses to use those the world considers to be fools, and people counted as nothing (1 Cor 1:28). That\u2019s what the apostles were in the book of Acts. (Acts 4:13) He uses us to communicate what is really important and to bring to nothing the things the world holds so dear. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was also God\u2019s design that the things of God would never be understood by human wisdom! (1 Cor 1:21) Have you ever wondered why what God is doing doesn\u2019t make sense? I think we can conclude from these verses that when we are confused, or don\u2019t understand, it\u2019s because we are trying to figure God out with human wisdom. If things don\u2019t make sense to us, maybe it should be a red flag to show us we are looking at things with human wisdom. From God\u2019s perspective, The foolish plan of God is wiser than the wisest human plans, and God\u2019s weakness is stronger than the greatest of human strength.(1 Cor 1:25)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. All we need is Him! You have every spiritual gift (1 Cor 1:6) Sounds like 2 Peter 1:3\u2026 you have everything you need to live a godly life<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
