Jesus asked the same question in Matthew 24:36-50. In Matt 24:44-50 Jesus tells a story about a master who leaves his house in the hands of his servants, then goes away for a while. The servants don’t know when the master will return. Jesus asks the question, “What will it be like for the servant who thinks, “My master is delayed, I don’t need to worry about his return. Jacob said, “They shot at him and harassed him, but his arms were strengthened by the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, by the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel. That is where we need to draw our strength for each moment!

I love the words of the old hymn, “He Giveth More Grace.”

When we have exhausted our store of endurance
When our strength has failed ere the day is half done
When we reach the end of our hoarded resources
Our Father’s full giving is only begun
His love has no limit, His grace has no measure
His pow’r has no boundary known unto men
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus
He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again

I pray that you will draw upon the riches of God’s grace today.
