&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;2 Kings 6:16-17<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dear *|FNAME|*<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well, this week certainly did not turn out as we expected when I wrote this update last week.\u00a0 We expected to return home, resume life as normal, get back to work, etc.\u00a0 But, that is not what happened.\u00a0 Thank you all for praying.\u00a0 Robin is feeling better.\u00a0 Still has a little bit of a cough, but not too bad.\u00a0 I never did get sick.\u00a0 But, as per health professional mandate, we are staying home for 2 weeks.\u00a0\u00a0<br><br>Also, the saga regarding my passport.\u00a0 We still have no word from the airport or the airline that it has turned up.\u00a0 Please continue to pray.\u00a0 Since we are in quarantine, I can&#8217;t make an appointment to start a new one until we get &#8220;released.&#8221; So, maybe this is the Lord giving it a few more days to show up.\u00a0\u00a0As always, thanks for your valuable partnership.\u00a0 Enjoy the pictures of all in Michigan, and some thoughts on how God wants to use our lives to be his instrument to do his work.\u00a0 Elisha is a great example of that in 2 Kings 6.<br>David Watters<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prayer Requests<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Thank you for praying for Robin.&nbsp; Keep praying for a full recovery.&nbsp; I have not &#8220;caught the bug.&#8221;&nbsp; Pray that I remain healthy also.<\/li><li>Keep praying for my passport.&nbsp; With the few extra days due to quarantine, pray that it shows up.<\/li><li>The process for renewing a passport will take 4-6 weeks.&nbsp; Then the PNG paperwork will take 2-3 months.&nbsp; We are hoping to return by early February.&nbsp; Pray this does not put that in jeopardy.<\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">News<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We had some sunshine one day this week.&nbsp; So, although we are in quarantine, I took the liberty to just go for a drive (making sure I stayed away from other people) and took some pictures of the fall colors.&nbsp; If the weather is nice this week, I may take another day this week to do the same.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here are few of the pictures I took.&nbsp; Its important to recognize that these are God&#8217;s works through the man Elisha. Elisha was Simply available and God used his hands and feet, eyes and mouth to do and display the works of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>2 Kings 6:1-7 God makes an iron axe head float by using Elisha&#8217;s hands to cut a limb off and throw it in the river.\u00a0 (God worked using Elisha&#8217;s hands)<\/li><li>2 Kings 6:8-10 God sees the movements of the Syrians and warns the king with Elisha&#8217;s mouth (God worked using Elisha&#8217;s mouth)<\/li><li>2 Kings 6:11-17 Elisha prays, &#8220;Open his eyes that he may see.&#8221;\u00a0 So God does it. The mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire. \u201cThose who are with us are more than those with them.\u201d Somehow Elisha could see that. Only the eyes of God could see that.\u00a0 (God worked using Elisha&#8217;s eyes to strengthen the servant&#8217;s faith)<\/li><li>2 Kings 6:18-19\u00a0 this sounds like Star Wars. \u201cThese are not the droids you are looking for.\u201d God strikes them with blindness\u00a0 a\u00a0a result of Elisha\u2019s prayer.\u00a0 Then Elisha says, &#8220;This is not the way, and this is not the city you are looking for.&#8221;\u00a0 So he\u00a0leads them right into the city of Samaria.\u00a0 (God worked using Elisha&#8217;s feet to lead the troops away from them)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Elisha is a beautiful example of living as God intended. Available for God, being His instrument to do His work.
