Thursday Dean worked up at Jersey Shore. Dean was asked to speak tomorrow in chapel services at a local Christian school. Mariah was starting to get better. The kids did well today. We’ve been in intense communication with NTM regarding the necessary paperwork for the immigration department. Thank you God for the opportunity to witness for you and for all that you are doing in our lives.
Friday Dean left early to go to the chapel services. He said there was a technical problem in the beginning but after that his presentation went well. We were able to work on some partnership development paperwork and spend time in discussion, Bible study and prayer. We were able to finalize the paperwork for the agency and it is being sent. Mariah was sick with a fever and not feeling well all day. We watched Tarzan for movie night. It was not a good choice, it was too scary for Veronica and Levi. Late in the evening we received a copy of our monthly voucher. We did not receive enough for the children’s schooling. We’re praising God for His clear direction. We’re thanking God for His provision for our current needs.
Saturday we discussed our situation and have decided to stop pursuing the Christian school in the city option. We want to start looking into the other schooling option and living outside of the city. We know it will be cheaper but we’re not sure how much cheaper it will be. Mariah is still sick with a fever and now Veronica is sick too. We went out for Halloween to local church celebrations. The girls dressed up as princesses and Levi in his blue camouflage outfit. We had a lovely time, the kids really enjoyed all the lights, costumes, games, activities and candy. We praise God for the freedom we have to worship and have fun together in safety and comfort.
Sunday I, Trudy went to First Baptist with Carissa and Levi. Mariah is a little better, her fever is gone but Veronica is still sick. Dean stayed home with the two sickies. A good time at church and an encouraging message from Gods word. I appreciated partaking in the Lords supper. Dean and Levi went to a friends house to watch the Eagles/Giants game. Dean was really happy that the Eagles won. Dean went to visit a different church for the evening service. He said they had a great contemporary worship service and the band was awesome! Thank you God that we have religious freedom and we can praise and worship you in spirit and in truth.
Monday we spent a lot of time in discussion, Bible study and prayer again. Dean and I spent some time on partnership development paperwork. Mariah seemed to be quite a bit better today. Veronica was still sick so she stayed home from school. I, Trudy went shopping and managed to get pretty much everything that we needed for another week. I managed to get some laundry done too! I tried to get an early night but did not go to bed until 11pm. We praise the Lord that we received the documents from NTM for the immigration department.
Tuesday Dean went to Carissa’s IEP meeting. They say that Carissa is doing very well. They think a smaller school out of the city would be a good option for her. Dean went to his Dads place to help out and then vote. I worked on laundry and some partnership development paperwork. Veronica stayed home again but I’ll be sending her to school tomorrow. Veronica, Mariah and I had a nice day together. Carissa cleaned up the play room/living room on her own initiative, I praised her for this. The kids were great at bedtime, they went right off to sleep. I guess they were tired. Dean arrived home around 9pm. We praise God for His kindness to us. Please continue to pray about an increase in support and that we would be good testimonies for Christ.
