Paper Flowers for a local nursing home

December 1, 2011 by Dean Hess

paper flowers I made at homeThe fruit of our labors - lots of paper flowers. Making flowers at Sandras.Paper flowers and Sandra.I was so happy to be involved in this ministry. There is a couple at our church who minister to the elderly every Sunday morning. For Thanksgiving Sandra had the idea to make paper flowers for all the residents. In total we made about 112 flowers. Unfortunately I was not able to hand out the flowers to the residents but I hope to go sometime in the future. I have wanted to reach out to the elderly for a long time as I see how valuable they are. I praise the Lord for this opportunity and for my husband supporting me in this. Thank you Jesus.
