Angelina

September 21, 2012 by Tuti Hess

I had not seen my cousin since 1997 when my mom passed away. I remember her bringing flowers to put on my moms grave. We used to play together as children and then as we grew up we hung out together. I was at the birth of her first child when she was just 16 years old, now she has several kids. When our plans to travel to Christchurch were confirmed I jumped at the opportunity to go and see Angelina(Bub). It was so good to see my cousin and her new family.

So much has happened since we were children cuz but the family bonds that were built when we were young still remain strong. I was happy to share about the Lord Jesus Christ being my hope and security in times of strife especially in the context of the Christchurch earthquakes. I pray you will find God. Thank you for being a friend to me when we were growing up, for protecting me, thank you for caring for me sometimes when I felt like no one else cared about me. You are a caring person. Angelina, my cousin I love you!
