His dad, who has been the healthiest and most active 75-year-old we know, recently started having seizures which led to a diagnosis of inoperable brain cancer. He has been given an estimate of 3 months to live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 5 of us are planning to drive up to DJ\u2019s parents\u2019 place in Ohio, leaving our place in south Texas on June 20 and arriving at their place the following day. We\u2019ll get to have a week with them before we have to drive back and arrive home on June 30. It\u2019s about a 23-hour drive one way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019re all very much feeling the shock of this sudden diagnosis, though we know that nothing catches God by surprise. Please be praying for God\u2019s perfect peace for each of us in the days ahead. Pray especially for DJ\u2019s parents, David and Teresa.
