Four of the days were taken up by the 23 hours of travel from Southwest Texas to Ohio and back again. The remaining 7 days were spent with DJ’s parents and Rachel. We had good times together and will treasure the memories we made. We also got to spend some time with DJ’s grandparents and other family members who were visiting at the same time, some of whom we hadn’t seen in many years.

Thank you also for praying for our safety during the many miles of traveling. DJ has had a lot of work to catch up on for his IT ministry overseeing the network for our organization’s home office. Jennifer has received some language recordings to listen to from a friend who serves in Asia. Our garden is producing quite a bit right now. Jennifer’s sister took care of it for us while we were gone. Areli and Galilee both have summer projects going around the house. Galilee’s migraines were worsened by the traveling, so that is also a matter for prayer. Tyndale got home from one trip the evening before we left for Ohio, and left on his next trip the morning after we got back. Both of those trips were related to his participation in FFA. Now he is home for a week before leaving for another week for his senior trip with the Geoforce program that he has participated in for the past four years.

Thank you all so much for your prayers, support, and expressions of concern for our family during this time.
