Thanks so much for your prayers for us over the past month.\u00a0 DJ\u2019s dad came to visit us from Oct.11-16 at the beginning of his very busy trip to Asia Pacific from the US.\u00a0 His visit happened during the kids\u2019 fall break from school, so we got to do fun things together while he was here\u2014like a ropes course and a water park.<\/p>\n

Our 2 language study families here in our town are continuing to progress through stage 3 of their studies.\u00a0 One of the families will be moving to another island (the one where we used to serve) at the end of this month, to finish their stage 3 and stage 4 national language studies and then, Lord willing, to move interior and learn the language of a people group who have never heard the Gospel in their own language yet.\u00a0 The other family will continue their stage 3 and 4 studies here before moving on into an aviation ministry.\u00a0 Please pray for both families (the Kellers and the Kresges.)\u00a0 Acquiring a new language and culture is hard, hard work.\u00a0 If you want to read about some of what goes into the job these families are doing right now, check out our blog post here: https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/dj-searcy\/2017\/10\/17\/whats-in-a-language\/<\/a><\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/dj-searcy\/files\/2017\/11\/DSCN5678-300x225.jpg\")
