family’s trip to Western Australia. We were there for a little over 2 weeks, June 7-22. While there we were able to take care of medical check-ups as well as spend some wonderful vacation time together as a family. DJ had a number of small skin cancers removed from his arms and hands. All were still small enough to be removed using dry ice, but it was emphasized again to us that he does need yearly check-ups to ensure that none of the cancers grow large enough to need surgery again. The area behind his ear where he had surgery last year has healed well and is still cancer-free.

<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-627" pain. He did have a few speckles on his hands and feet and some joint pain while we were in Australia. He’s been completely rash free for several weeks now and only has intermittent mild joint pain, so we are hopeful that he is near the end of this illness. Thanks so much for lifting him up in prayer. Please be praying for Areli and Galilee as well. The doctor prescribed a daily medicine for them to try to reduce the severe migraines they have been having which interfere with their ability to function, attend school, etc. We’re planning to start this medication a few weeks before they start back to school, since that will give us the best indication as to whether it is working or not (most of their headaches come on when they are at school.)

<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-629" src="https://blogs.ethnos360.org/dj-searcy/files/2018/07/DSCN8406-300x225.jpg" alt=""
