At the beginning of this month, I (Jennifer) made one last consulting trip before we start our home assignment.\u00a0 I traveled to the interior of the island where we used to serve and helped with 2 stage 3 evaluations for friends who are learning a local language.\u00a0 Once I got back, I helped with another evaluation here and then switched my focus to packing up our house and getting ready to be away for a year. Part of getting ready has meant saying goodbye to dear friends as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DJ has been busy getting all his responsibilities\ntransferred to our teammates for the year we’ll be gone too.  Please pray for our teammates (the Corks and\nMcIlroys, and the Berglunds once they get back in a few months), as they will\nbe carrying a heavy workload especially this summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please pray for us too. \nTomorrow morning at 5:00 (Thursday evening US time) we will begin our\n2-day journey back to Texas for home assignment, landing in San Antonio about\nnoon on Saturday.  And once we get there,\nwe’ll have 3 1\/2 weeks to get settled and get ready for our two-month trip to\nvisit friends, family, and supporters over the summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
