We’re enjoying being in Texas for the fall.  I (Jennifer) have continued to go swimming\nevery afternoon that’s warm enough.  So\nfar, it’s been warm enough almost every day, although we did have a weak\nnorther a couple days ago that made it too cool for one day.  And we are supposed to have a stronger\nnorther and cooler temperatures this weekend before it warms back up again next\nweek.  In a few weeks, we should be able\nto start picking pecans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The kids are doing well academically.  We’ve been able to meet with their teachers\nabout the implementation of accommodations for their learning differences, and\nthat seems to be going well too.  We are very\nthankful for the teachers at their charter school who really seem to care about\neach student, and go above and beyond to help them!  Please keep praying for Areli, Galilee, and\nTyndale, as they are still going through some culture shock and social anxiety\nregarding how to relate to their classmates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please also be praying that Tyndale will be approved to\nhave an IV immunoglobulin treatment for his Henoch-Schonlein purpura, and that\nthe treatment will work.  He has been to\nsee a specialist, who is in the process of trying to get him approved.  Pray that the doctor here will be able to get\nall the information he needs from the doctor in Singapore in order to move\nforward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We appreciate your prayers for DJ’s dental work too.  He needs multiple extractions and\nimplants.  Please pray for the needed\nfinances, as well as for wisdom as to what would be the best treatments to\nchoose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
