southwest Texas spring is already transitioning into summer.\u00a0 We\u2019ve been enjoying the cool, refreshing Nueces River water on hot afternoons.\u00a0 Our garden is producing lots of squash, zucchini, lettuce, cilantro, green beans, peas, cucumbers, and peppers.\u00a0 Soon we\u2019ll have corn too.\u00a0 We\u2019re getting to the end of mulberry and agarita berry season now, but one of the peach trees in the garden managed to produce a lot of peaches.\u00a0 So we\u2019ve been harvesting those.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" are down to their last week of online assignments before summer break starts.\u00a0 What a different school year this has been than any of us envisioned!\u00a0 I\u2019m sure you know the feeling.\u00a0 Overall, the kids are very happy with the extra time they\u2019ve had at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" right now it appears that flights are available back to Asia Pacific for the end of July (the time we are hoping to return), but that everything is at least twice as expensive as normal.\u00a0 You can imagine that the difference adds up quickly for a family of five!\u00a0 So you can be praying with us about that, as well as that we\u2019ll be able to figure out and have in order all doctor\u2019s letters, etc. that we need in order to be allowed back into the country.\u00a0 Likely we will need to observe a period of quarantine once we arrive back in Asia as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure
