It\u2019s hard to believe we\u2019ve been back in Texas for 3 \u00bd weeks now.\u00a0 DJ\u2019s parents were here for over 2 \u00bd weeks of that time, helping us work on the cabin.\u00a0 DJ and his dad got a lot of the sheet rock (drywall) put up and painted, as well as plumbing put in for the bathroom, doors stained, etc.\u00a0 We\u2019re very thankful for the time Mom & Dad were willing to spend helping us.\u00a0 Over the next month and a half or so, DJ will continue to work on the cabin by himself.\u00a0 He\u2019s hoping to get it livable by the time my dad and stepmom return from their summer cabin in Upper Michigan.\u00a0 Right now we are borrowing their house on the same property as our cabin.\u00a0 Meanwhile, Galilee has a bedroom in my dad\u2019s place that she should be able to stay in, and Areli and Tyndale are already sleeping in the cabin lofts.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Galilee has been to the doctor twice so far, and her first neurologist appointment is scheduled for Sept. 13.\u00a0 She had a bunch of blood work done to check for things like Lyme\u2019s disease, autoimmune disorders, thyroid imbalances, etc.\u00a0 All of that blood work came back normal.\u00a0 Her health is still about the same\u2014lots of migraines, confusion, and extreme fatigue.\u00a0 On days when she feels well enough, she and I go for short walks down under the native pecan trees here on the family property.\u00a0 That\u2019s one of her favorite places to be in the outdoors.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Areli and Tyndale have been in school for two weeks now.\u00a0 So far it seems to be going well, Praise the Lord!\u00a0 Areli is in 11th<\/sup> grade now, and Tyndale is in 8th<\/sup>.\u00a0 We\u2019ve been able to get their credits and class schedules all figured out, and Areli is even allowed to take American Sign Language through an online course for her foreign language credit.\u00a0 This is a huge praise as her auditory processing challenges and dyslexic tendencies make it difficult if not impossible for her to take traditional high school foreign language courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We so much appreciate your ongoing prayers for Galilee\u2019s health, our cabin project, and the Lord\u2019s direction as to what ministries we should take on at the beginning of next year to continue to support the spread of the Gospel overseas and at home now that we can no longer be on-site in Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
