Thanks so much for your prayers for us over the crazy past year, and in this new year too.\u00a0 DJ has been in the process of transferring departments within our mission organization, from serving with the field of Asia Pacific to serving in the USA IT department.\u00a0 Just a few days ago that process was officially completed\u2014Praise the Lord!\u00a0 Now he\u2019ll work to get some certifications and learn his new network administration jobs.\u00a0 He\u2019s also been busy closing in the back section of our carport for storage and building a deck to extend our cabin\u2019s little front porch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I (Jennifer) have started sitting in on the CLA Development Team\u2019s twice-weekly virtual team meetings, and I have a bunch of reading to do to catch up on the ongoing development of the updated culture and language acquisition program.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Galilee continues to have migraines, but her fatigue levels have decreased significantly over the past month.\u00a0 Her current recovery goals are to walk for 15 minutes a day and do one hour per day of her online schoolwork.\u00a0 She\u2019s managing to accomplish those almost every day.\u00a0 She\u2019s also usually awake about 10 hours a day now, whereas a couple months ago it was still only about 4 hours a day.\u00a0 She\u2019s very excited about planting the garden with her daddy in a few weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Areli and Tyndale have a couple days off school right now for the Southwest Texas version of severe winter weather\u2014daytime temps in the low 30s, several inches of sleet covering everything, and expected windchills down near zero tonight.\u00a0 We\u2019re thankful this kind of weather doesn\u2019t usually last long here, and in a couple weeks we should be seeing signs of spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you all so very much for your outpouring of love and support during this whole transition time.\u00a0 Statistically, missionaries serving overseas who have to switch to ministry positions in their home countries see a decrease in their support levels, but we\u2019ve actually seen an increase in ours.\u00a0 We have felt incredibly cared for throughout this difficult season, and we are thankful beyond words.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
