{"id":431,"date":"2010-02-15T08:43:55","date_gmt":"2010-02-15T13:43:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/doug-schaible\/?p=431"},"modified":"2010-02-15T08:45:06","modified_gmt":"2010-02-15T13:45:06","slug":"pleasing-the-lord-through-teamwork","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/doug-schaible\/2010\/02\/15\/pleasing-the-lord-through-teamwork\/","title":{"rendered":"Pleasing the Lord Through Teamwork"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cheryl and I want to thank you for your kindness and love for us.\u00a0 We have appreciated working together with you.\u00a0 We are happy to say that we know of at least 11 students who have entered missionary training in the last 12 months and you all have had a direct part of bringing this to pass.<\/p>\n<p>Often, we think that people get this \u201cCall\u201d to be missionaries but most of the time, it is just <!--more-->someone taking the time to explain to interested parties the needs of the lost in a way that makes sense to them.\u00a0 This is why it is so important to know the Word and who God really is.\u00a0 Then, when we know how God views a lost and dying world, we can say, like the apostle Paul, \u201cWhat would You have me to do?\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_432\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-432\" style=\"width: 180px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/doug-schaible\/files\/2010\/02\/PNG_Island-Support__030.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-432 \" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/doug-schaible\/files\/2010\/02\/PNG_Island-Support__030-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"How would you do your work without electricity?\" width=\"180\" height=\"135\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/doug-schaible\/files\/2010\/02\/PNG_Island-Support__030-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/doug-schaible\/files\/2010\/02\/PNG_Island-Support__030-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 180px) 100vw, 180px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-432\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">How would you do your work without electricity?<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>All of us working together to reach those who have never heard is the only successful strategy that there is.\u00a0 Church-planters need a group of support workers who allow them to do the work of the ministry in places where they are not able to provide for themselves.\u00a0 This is where you and we come in.\u00a0 We are doing our part by finding, sending, praying for, providing financially for and encouraging those who have chosen to give their lives to reach those who would never have the opportunity to hear otherwise.\u00a0 This allows them to stay at their posts and finish the task that the Lord has given them.\u00a0 All we can say is thank you for being faithful to the ministry that the Lord has entrusted to you.<\/p>\n<p>Take care and know that we are praying for you.\u00a0 The Lord is good.<\/p>\n<p>Your friends and co-laborers,<\/p>\n<p>Doug &amp; Cheryl Schaible<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer Requests:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>More laborers in church-planting and support ministries.<\/li>\n<li>More meetings to share the needs for laborers.<\/li>\n<li>Safety while traveling and protection for family when gone.<\/li>\n<li>Spiritual awakening for Haiti.<\/li>\n<li>Unity in the Body of Christ concerning reaching a lost and dying world.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Support workers are needed!
