{"id":766,"date":"2014-05-17T18:35:45","date_gmt":"2014-05-17T23:35:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/doug-schaible\/?p=766"},"modified":"2014-05-17T20:06:08","modified_gmt":"2014-05-18T01:06:08","slug":"766","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/doug-schaible\/2014\/05\/17\/766\/","title":{"rendered":"To the Regions Beyond (USA, that is)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Thank you<\/h1>\n<p>Dearest Friends and Co-laborers,<\/p>\n<p>Like the Apostle John said to Gaius, Cheryl and I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.<\/p>\n<p>Cheryl and I appreciate working together with you as fellow laborers.\u00a0 Without your help, we would not be able to find and expose people to the opportunities that are available in missionary work among remote tribal people of the earth.\u00a0 These unreached souls have no advocate to plead their cause and so we believe that this is our part in reaching them at this time.\u00a0 We want to be obedient to the heavenly vision that the Lord gave to Paul, to go to the regions beyond.\u00a0 Thank you.<\/p>\n<h1>Busy Semester<\/h1>\n<p>By far, this has been the busiest semester we have ever encountered.\u00a0 Cheryl was able to travel with me some of the time but mostly I was out on the road.\u00a0 We counted about 70 days away from home this semester.\u00a0 In January I started in Ohio, then went to Indiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, back to Oklahoma again, Arkansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Wyoming, Texas, Missouri, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Wisconsin, Ohio, Kentucky, Missouri, Kansas, Texas and finally back to Kansas.<\/p>\n<p>We traveled to 25 different states to share in colleges, churches, Perspectives classes and wherever we could get our foot in the door.\u00a0 It was great and we trust that many will be willing to give their lives to reach those who have never heard.\u00a0 Please pray for more laborers.<\/p>\n<h1>Summer Schedule<\/h1>\n<div>\n<p>June<br \/>\nTeaching SS for month of June<br \/>\ne1 Forum in Missouri<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/gallery.mailchimp.com\/e87f3bec68910b2b1983f82df\/images\/2ee949d2-32b8-4341-a430-7b68d0801ae1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"220\" height=\"104\" align=\"none\" \/><\/p>\n<p>July<br \/>\nWhispering Winds Bible Camp &#8211; St. James, MO<br \/>\nGirard Bible Church<br \/>\nEAA &#8211; Oshkosh, WI representing NTM Aviation<\/p>\n<p>August<br \/>\nTrail Ridge RBC Camp &#8211; Hillsboro, WI<\/p>\n<h1>The Family<\/h1>\n<p>Our children are fine.\u00a0 Each of them is doing well in their work and it seems that as they get older, we become even closer.\u00a0 We love them dearly and pray for their spiritual well-being.<\/p>\n<p>We now have two grandchildren and this summer will be fun for us, especially for Cheryl as she gets to babysit them even more.\u00a0 Thanks for praying for our family.<\/p>\n<h1>Grateful<\/h1>\n<p>We feel very privileged to still be involved in the Lord\u2019s work in a more physical way.\u00a0 We pray for those who for physical reasons are not able to do the work that missionary work requires but we are thankful that through praying and giving, they keep the work moving ahead for the Lord\u2019s honor.\u00a0 Thank you all for your interest in reaching a lost and dying world.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/gallery.mailchimp.com\/e87f3bec68910b2b1983f82df\/images\/a9ab0bf9-1691-4c4e-b35b-66bf18aa60dc.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"366\" height=\"224\" align=\"right\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h1>Prayer Requests<\/h1>\n<p>1.More people willing to go long-term into missions<\/p>\n<p>2.Pray that the Lord will protect missionaries from sickness and\u00a0sin<\/p>\n<p>3.Strength for Cheryl and I as we\u00a0travel to visit potential laborers<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>4.Spiritual growth of all our children and for the\u00a0salvation and spiritual growth of our grandchildren<\/p>\n<p>5.Pray that Cheryl and I would have a true love for our\u00a0brothers and\u00a0sisters in the Lord and a determination\u00a0to see the gospel go to the\u00a0ends of the earth.<\/p>\n<div>\n<h1>With Deep Appreciation<\/h1>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/gallery.mailchimp.com\/e87f3bec68910b2b1983f82df\/images\/2d0b2143-529f-47cd-bdf9-fd2bbac6e50e.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"104\" height=\"155\" align=\"none\" \/>Cheryl and I, along with tribal people all over the world want to thank you for your prayers and financial support.\u00a0 We could not travel to the \u201cAmerican\u201d regions beyond to find people to go overseas if it weren\u2019t for all of you.\u00a0 One day, tribal people will understand your sacrifice.<\/p>\n<p>We love you all and trust that the Lord will honor your work and labor of love.\u00a0 He is a gracious and faithful Savior who loves us more than we can ever comprehend.\u00a0 Keep the faith, all.\u00a0 Praying for you.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id=\"content\">Blessings to you all, Doug &amp;
