First of all, I would like to share with you a blessing that happened only a day or two after I sent out our last update. \u00a0We were helping some friends pack up a truck for moving across the US, and they decided to give us their washer and dryer!\u00a0 We just could not believe it! \u00a0We had gone to try to be a blessing and help to them and they ended up being that to us.<\/p>\n
I asked a co-worker in passing his office how he was doing and he said\u2026<\/span><\/span>Too blessed to complain! \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>How true that is!\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Our lives here are falling into a routine; well, as much as it can. Ha!\u00a0 Dwight is \u201cstepping up to the plate\u201d and learning lots and getting lots done. Meetings, seminars, etc are getting on the schedule and it is has been fun to meet the \u201cyounger\u201d couples and families who are excited about going into full time ministry overseas. (It reminds us a little bit of ourselves just a few years ago.)<\/p>\n Dwight used some of our AA Advantage miles and got me a ticket to go up to see the kids\u2026.one of the perks of living here in the USA now. <\/span><\/span>\u263a <\/span><\/span>That was a good time for me and I felt more ready to \u201cdelve\u201d into things here after I got back.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Yesterday I started learning a bit about all that the receptionist does, so I can be a sub when the need arises.\u00a0 There are other secretarial type jobs that I will be learning and have been learning.<\/p>\n One special day we had in June was our !\u00a0 Can\u2019t believe how the years have flown!\u00a0 We <\/span><\/span>35 <\/span><\/span><\/span>had a good time <\/span><\/span>th <\/span><\/span><\/span>anniversary <\/span><\/span><\/span>with one of the families here, as we celebrated by going out for lunch together.<\/p>\n Another special day was getting up early in the morning to pray for the 1<\/span><\/span>st <\/span><\/span>Kodiak for <\/span><\/span>PNG as it was ready to take off for Kansas where it would get extra tanks for the ferry flight across to PNG.\u00a0 NTMA feels so blessed by this provision from the Lord!<\/p>\n We continue to have contact with various ones from our church in Bolivia.\u00a0 It is always a joy to hear from them! God is supplying little by little for the construction on the Pastor\u2019s house.\u00a0 We just heard from one of the leadership guys and he asked us to pray for them as his Dad (who is an alcoholic) is now living with them.\u00a0 It will be a big challenge to have him there with them in such a small house, but they hope their love and care will bring him to the Lord. \u00a0The church celebrated their 18<\/span><\/span>th <\/span><\/span>anniversary, which made us a bit homesick to not be there for that.
