(Well, at least I was hoping for that last question!) Anyway, she and Dwight S have been a really big help with many “small” things that seem overwhelming when coming back to a country with so much material wealth.

I have been able to help Dwight with correspondence over the internet, and was able to help my friends in Boliviawith Skype calls.

Dwight Samuel and I were able to take a little road trip up to see our friends in St Jo, Missouri. He is a nutritionist, and was able to get some blood work done on Dwight Samuel and found out several things were out of range. He gave him some natural vitamins and minerals which hopefully in a couple of weeks will take affect. Pray for continued wisdom in all of that! Also pray that Dwight S. can find a job. He continues to hunt and fill out applications not even in the graphic design area, and has had interviews, but so far no go. Pray that we will trust the Lord and see Him direct Dwight to just the right job.

We thank the Lord for the apartment we are in the process of leasing. It is just a couple of miles away from Darlena and Landon. Also he has a lot of stuff that we won’t have to buy like pots and pans and dishes, table and chairs, etc. With us going on road trips we will be in and out, which does make it nice to have a “home base”.

And now for the News from Bolivia: 1. Dwight was able to get his driver’s license back (after a bit of whining) but the insurance agency is still in the process of getting our vehicle out of the impounding (which is done on both vehicles whenever someone gets hurt). Dwight is going to have to leave them with a Power of Attorney so they can get the car out, as he is leaving soon. 2. The lawyer that was working on his immigration paperwork told him to go ahead and buy a ticket, as it would put more pressure on immigration to get things done for him. He was able to book a flight with his AA miles from Bolivia to Orlando for the 1st of Sept and went up to La Paz with the ticket and letters to present. They told him to come back the next day at 3:00 and then the next day was told “mañana”. So he insisted a bit harder, as he needed to fly back to Cochabamba that evening. So they finally got things done to where he walked away with his passport in hand! (This is the part where we break out and start singing: Hallelujah!) He can now come home! 3. He was able to look into his “pilot’s license” and it is in process but hasn’t been completed yet.

FYI: We want you all to know that Dwight has decided to go ahead and hand in his resignation from the Bolivia field leadership team. Pray for the Lord’s direction in our lives during this time of transition. Our Bolivian church has been very supportive, praying with us as we seek the Lord’s leading and wisdom.

After we are settled in the apartment and Dwight has had some time to rest, we will probably head to McNeal the early part of October to meet with the leadership in McNeal. Then we will begin to schedule out our trips to be able to come and see you all.

Soooo…this has been a long month and a half with Dwight in Bolivia and me here in the US. I have been going through some adjustments to being back in the US….again. It has only been about 2 years when I was back here, but it has been overwhelming for me at times. I told […]

[1

0":"post-76","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","6":"category-uncategorized","7":"entry
["GET
