Well, perhaps not our last winter, but at least our last winter for a couple years. We will be making another trip this month and we will be gone for about 4 weeks.
Our first stop will be in Wisconsin, then we will be heading to Illinois, Missouri, South Carolina, Virginia, and finally West Virginia before coming back home to Michigan.
Please pray for us as this will be a very packed trip with lots of driving and with a two month old. We expect the weather to be a lot warmer and by the time we come back to Michigan it will be almost spring!
We are still planning to leave for the mission field in July and yet there are a few things that need to fall into place before that can happen. Please keep us in your prayers regarding this. We are open to leaving during the timetable that God allows, but we are also hopeful to leave this July.
Our little boy is now two months old. He is already holding his head up for extended periods of time and refuses to sleep more than a couple hours at a time especially during the night. What a stinker. We are learning to adjust our lives to accommodate such a “blessing.” But seriously, we love this little guy and we are wanting all y’all to meet him soon if you haven’t already.
I mean seriously what is there not to love about that face?
Isn’t he just adorable?
Being a parent is great in that it has demanded us to take care of someone so helpless and someone who has also become very dear to us. It is amazing to think how we have been adopted as children into the family of God. And how much we are very helpless without Him taking care of us.
Thank you all for your encouragement, prayers, and overall support.
Eric, Cherie and Joshua
