With Missionary Technology going into its third week, our labs have changed.\u00a0\u00a0I started off\u00a0teaching them how\u00a0to solder using both DC and AC.\u00a0 Now the labs have changed to give each student a good over view of a complete off grid solar electric system.\u00a0 The Labs are broken up into 6 classes.\u00a0 At the end of the last Lab, each student\u00a0\u00a0has basically installed and wired their off grid house.<\/p>\n

Each day I am going to\u00a0emphasize one of the classes so you can see how we are training our students here at the MTC.<\/p>\n

In the PV Rack Install we teach the students how to safely install a racking system that we build.\u00a0 This racking system will adjust to about any slope roof and can mount to just about any roof type.\u00a0 A couple of the best things is that it is simple to install, can withstand high winds and can fit many sizes of panels.\u00a0 On the field this racking system can be installed in about 2 hours, with a drill, driver and hand tools.<\/p>\n
