My mom’s (Nadia’s) visit has a unexpected aftermath…
After a routine visit to her oncologist, my mom was send to different specialist who found that she has a broken collar bone… Apparently it must be excruciatingly painful, but somehow my mom has been able to block the pain for more than two months!
We think she must have broken her collar bone on her way here at one of the airports where she fell as her heavy baggage (packed with things for us!) pulled her off balance. She told us about the fall with her usual good humour, downplaying any pain or embarrassment.
“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves;” 2Co 4:7. Again we are learning from her that to give up comfort (or to endure pain!) is our privilege and in His strength alone.
May this encourage you! We are truly serving an amazing God with whom “all things are possible in Christ”.
